About Wendella

As a family run business in its third generation, Wendella has evolved into Chicago's most comprehensive boat tour. Wendella's in-house education department is the first of its kind in the industry. Our experienced and knowledgeable docents and tour guides provide educational and insightful narration about Chicago, it's rich history and magnificent architecture.

We are committed to providing memorable, safe experiences on the waterways. To that end, we have recruited and trained a staff of professionals who maintain and operate Wendella's vessels, as well as a dock crew that assist our guests both before and after the tour. It is these people that enable Wendella to provide you with the highest degree of hospitality, safety and professionalism.

All Wendella vessels are certified annually by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) for passenger service and all our Captains are USCG Licensed Merchant Marine Officers.

And, for your convenience, all have snack bars and restrooms.
