With breathtaking views of Chicago’s magnificent skyline as a backdrop, a private charter with Wendella will transform any event into something special! Wendella features vessels perfect for any event, from a private architecture tour to a corporate outing, cocktail party or wedding reception.

Our experienced staff and crew are dedicated to ensuring every aspect of the event goes smoothly and is hassle and stress free. We can provide as much, or as little assistance you need to plan and manage your event. We’re ready to assist in planning any aspect from food to flowers to music.

The Wendella, hosts up to 275 of your guests on two decks. Its been custom designed with a wedding, large corporate event or any celebration in mind. However, its flexible floor plan means it can be configured for any event! A stunning black granite bar is located on the main deck in a climate controlled salon. The salon is an ideal location for a formal sit down meal for up to 65 guests, protected from the elements. More casual events will find the salon a perfect location to set up a buffet, while your guests dine on the upper deck. It may also serve as a quiet escape or the site of a meeting or presentation. Outside of the salon, a covered esplanade provides a space to enjoy the music, a personalized tour or just take in the fabulous views.

The upper deck, which can be accessed by a chair lift, is open and can be set up with tables, chairs for a tour or left open for your guests to mingle and enjoy the views.

The Ouilmette hosts up to 160 passengers on two decks. The upper deck, which can be covered in the event of inclement weather, may be accessed by an ADA compliant elevator. With a flexible floor plan, it can be set up to your specifications; whether your event requires tables, chairs, open deck or any combination. Like the Wendella, it also features a granite bar and boasts meticulously maintained wood and brass. It’s professional grade sound system offers capability to play your own CD, MP3’s,iPod (or equivalent) or we’ll provide the music using satellite radio. There’s room for a band, DJ or other live entertainment!

The Ouilmette is perfect for corporate events, cocktail cruises or less formal weddings.

The completely redesigned Sunliner offers the same attention to detail as the Wendella and Ouilmette, in a more intimate setting. Perfect for events from 30-60 guests, the Sunliner and its single deck arrangement offer the same flexible seating options: from tables to chairs to an open deck. Like its larger siblings, the Sunliner offers a full service bar and catering options only limited by your imagination.

All vessels are available for private events seven days a week from April through November. Each is inspected and certified annually by the United States Coast Guard and all are designed to cruise on either the Chicago River or Lake Michigan.
